The subject matter is the same but the differences seem to be great.

We are now fortunate to have the first two books on Causal Inference in Python finally published. They are “Causal Inference and Discovery in Python” by Aleksander Molak, published by Packt Publishing, and “Causal Inference in Python” by Matheus Facture, published by O’Reilly Media.

Although they cover about the same subject matter, the differences between them seem to be great. Starting with their prices, although both prices are high (links for purchasing them at Amazon are below), but other differences seem to be even greater.

Both books benefit from Amazon’s look inside feature, where you can have a glimpse of them. You can buy them in Kindle or paperback format.

However, the formulas in Facture’s book (and there are many of them) are not displayed properly on Kindle (something you can already see in its first chapter) and I don’t recommend that you buy its Kindle version. Check out the links below.

My forthcoming comparison review of both is coming soon. I am still waiting for the review copy of Facture’s book.

Meanwhile, check out the links below.
